'Opposite' is Magenta Workshop's tribute to the innovative exhibition LEGO which took part at the Israel Museum in 1977. The exhibition curated by Izzika Gaon – curator of the Design and Architecture department during 1973-1997. For the first time, in its short history, the audience was invited to the museum to play, engage and interact with more than 150,000 LEGO bricks. To mark the 20th anniversary of Gaon's passing, five Israeli Design studios were invited to present a small exhibition in dialogue with five groundbreaking exhibitions which Gaon curated back then. The current exhibition curated by Galit Gaon and Yuval Saar took place at the Jerusalem Design Week, between the 8-15th of June 2017.
